The highest intermittent waterfall in Bulgaria - 141 m. It is located 1.5 km. south of Vratsa, behind the hill Kaleto. Remains of the medieval Bulgarian settlement of Patleina have been found in its area. Beautiful in all seasons, from its upper part there are beautiful views of the city of Vratsa and Vratsa field. Intersection point of several tourist routes. Skaklya Waterfall is part of the Vratsa Karst Reserve with an area of 1467 ha. How to get there: by car or on foot to the area above the hospital in Vratsa, from where you can reach the foot of the waterfall in 1 hour.

- tourist route Vratsa - Skaklya peak - Patleina locality - Izbata locality - Okolchitsa peak, (3 hours)
The site can be visited by tourists all year round.
